About Sidrah
Hi! I’m an experienced tutor with 500+ hours of tutoring experience, helping students build confidence, understand difficult topics and prepare effectively for their exams.
I specialize in GCSE Chemistry, GCSE Biology, and I have experience tutoring students through platforms such as Tutorful.
My approach is simple: I don’t just want students to memorise information — I want them to understand why things work, so they can apply their knowledge confidently to exam questions.
Every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons around their individual needs. Whether your child is struggling with a particular topic, wants to improve their exam technique, or is aiming for the highest grades, I can create lessons around their goals.

My lessons are fully personalised to each student.
Before starting, I like to understand what the student is currently struggling with and what they would like to achieve. We can then focus the lesson around their specific needs.
A typical lesson might include:
1. Identify the topic
We begin by looking at the topic the student needs help with and identifying any gaps in their understanding.
2. Learn and understand
I explain the topic clearly and break difficult concepts into manageable steps, using examples to make them easier to understand.
3. Apply the knowledge
The student then works through questions with my guidance so they can apply what they've learned.
4. Exam technique
For exam-focused students, we practise past-paper and exam-style questions and look at how to structure answers effectively and avoid common mistakes.
5. Recap & next steps
At the end of the lesson, we recap what we've covered and identify what the student should work on next.
My aim is for students to leave each lesson thinking:
"I understand this now."
