About Sanaa

I am currently studying A-Level Computer Science, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics, having achieved Grade 9 in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Triple Science, along with a Distinction in English Speaking. I have also participated in competitions such as the British Informatics Olympiad and the Bebras Challenge, and have contributed programming and maths articles to school newsletters. I have experience tutoring students in KS2 through Year 10, focusing on core programming concepts, logical thinking, and applying knowledge to exam-style questions. My lessons prioritise deep understanding, problem-solving skills, and preparing students for top grades. I use personalised teaching methods, adapting explanations to each student’s learning style. Lessons include step-by-step coding demonstrations, visual aids, practical exercises, and real-life examples, combining conceptual understanding, hands-on practice, and exam technique. I am passionate about helping students master programming in Python and VB.NET, gain confidence, and achieve top marks, making each lesson engaging, productive, and tailored to the student’s individual goals.

About the lesson

My lessons follow a structured, step-by-step approach: 1. Identify topics or programming concepts the student struggles with. 2. Ensure understanding of the fundamentals. 3. Test knowledge through exercises and mini-tasks. 4. Apply knowledge to real problems and exam-style programming questions. Lessons are typically one hour, but can be adjusted to suit the student’s needs. I focus on building problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence in programming, making these lessons suitable for KS2 students up to Year 11 GCSE students, whether they want to improve grades, strengthen understanding, or aim for top marks.
