About James

Hi, I’m James, a Product Design undergraduate studying in Leeds. I help GCSE & A-Level Design & Technology students improve their coursework, develop stronger ideas and achieve higher grades. I’m passionate about design and enjoy helping students become more confident in exploring their ideas and thinking creatively. I specialise in design thinking, CAD, visual communication and prototyping, supporting students through NEA coursework, project development and exam preparation. My aim is to make design feel more engaging and accessible, while helping you build the skills needed to produce high-quality work and reach your full potential.

About the lesson

My Design & Technology lessons are relaxed, friendly and focused on helping you achieve real results. I create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, developing ideas, and improving your work step-by-step. We work together on coursework (NEA), projects, CAD, and exam preparation, with a focus on strengthening your design thinking, visual communication, and problem-solving skills. Each lesson is tailored to your needs, whether you need help improving your ideas, structuring your project, or creating higher-quality outcomes to achieve better grades.

Good fundamental knowledge as-well as real world examples used as A02 to help develop answers. Exam technique is where most improvement can be made!
