About Ayomide
Hi, I’m Ayomide, a dedicated and patient tutor with a strong passion for helping students succeed in Maths. I work mainly with GCSE students, supporting them to build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve better results in their exams.
I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-follow steps, making Maths more accessible for students of all abilities. I am particularly committed to helping students who may find Maths challenging, guiding them step by step until they feel more confident working independently.
My approach is supportive, encouraging, and focused on progress. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills over time.

My Maths lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and ability level. I primarily work with GCSE students, helping them build confidence, strengthen their understanding of key topics, and improve their exam performance.
A typical lesson begins with a review of previous work or any difficulties the student is facing. I then explain concepts in a clear, step-by-step way before moving on to guided practice. A large part of the lesson focuses on solving exam-style questions and past papers, which helps students develop problem-solving skills and become familiar with exam techniques.
Lessons usually last 1 hour, but I can be flexible depending on the student’s needs. I encourage students to share topics in advance so I can prepare targeted materials and make each session as effective as possible.
My teaching approach is supportive and patient, especially for students who may find Maths challenging. I focus on helping them understand the process behind solutions, not just memorise methods, so they can apply their knowledge confidently in exams.
