About Robyn
I got the family history bug about 35 years ago and it has been a passion of mine ever since. It has changed dramatically in that time, going from paper files to computer programs to sometimes entirely online and I have been able to grow and adjust with all the changes. I love helping people learn about their family and have taught classes for years in Australia. I have now relocated to New Zealand and want to continue offering my help online. I am happy to work with any age over 8 years old and to tailor a lesson plan that works for any individual.

I offer a couple of choices of lessons.
The first choice is to teach you the skills of research (where to find information), how to enter information into a tree and how to keep a record of where you've been and what you've found. I listen to what my students want to achieve and plan lessons around that. I love to see beginners get the genealogy bug. I am happy to teach computer skills as we go along as that is the backbone of genealogy today.
The second choice is to undertake research for you, reporting to you as I go along. There is no guarantee of results but with good reporting you can see where I have looked and what I have or haven't found.
My specialities are Australian, English and Scottish records, but also in knowing how to find resources in other countries.
I want to help you find out about your family and put flesh on the bones of your ancestry. All ages over 8 years old welcome.
