About Yash
In sixth grade, I wasn't the greatest student. I would get Cs and Ds in my classes and struggle to understand many concepts in math and science. By the end of high school, I got a 36 on my ACT, 5s on my AP exams, and got into my dream school, Georgia Tech. I got there by changing how I went about school and developing good study skills and habits. It was a struggle, but eventually, I got something that worked for me and helped me thrive in middle and high school. I hope to go beyond just teaching you the concepts for your classes, and also leave you with the underlying approach I took to school to mitigate that struggle many students have.

My goal is to help you breeze through high school, whether that's with math or your ACT. I begin by learning where you stand in the subject you want to learn by giving you some problems and asking you questions. From there, I come up with a plan for what topics we should cover together and how long it would take. I use a hands-on approach to teaching by going over practice problems and by making sure you understand the core underlying concepts behind everything. As I've developed my study tools throughout high school and college, I know the most effective ways to practice hard concepts and I've devised the best questions to help you learn.
