About Alex
Hi there! I'm Alex, an undergraduate studying German and History and I'm currently TEFL qualified and teaching English in two secondary schools in Austria. My passion for teaching stems from working with students and helping them improve, so much so that I have decided to stay on as a teacher in Austria from October to gain more experience in the profession.

When learning a language, I believe speaking can be the hardest part, and I aim through my sessions to increase the confidence speaking in the foreign language. Key grammar and vocabulary is also important, whether that be for English or for German.
My sessions last 45 minutes to an hour and they will be catered towards students learning German for their GCSE or A-level exams, and also those wanting to perfect their English as a second language.
I have a year's experience teaching English in Austria as part of my year abroad, with many tutees that I taught alongside, who I have helped prepare for their final exams in the subject. So I have the techniques to help teach a language, as well as 10 years of learning German myself, allowing me to best help the students excel in their exams.
