About Sashirekha
I have been teaching since more than 12 years. Taught at Goethe Institut, IITMadras, Indo german Chamber of commerce, and SRM University in India. Taught in Abu Dhabi for 3 years. My students number runs into hundreds, most of them acquired Goethe Institut international language certificates, A1 to C1.
I have presented papers in German in Turkey, India and Germany.
My students enjoy the communicative method I employ to teach the language also the passion I have for the language and for the teaching profession. Getting to know not only the language but also to be informed about the country's culture is part of the learning process with me, which is aided by the fact that some of my language courses I did Germany on scholarship and also part of teacher's training was conducted there. During my PhD studies, I have visited Germany for my study, visiting many cities and interacting with many native speakers, who enriched not only my language skills but also in knowing the culture at first hand.

I am a PhD degree holder in German. I am also trained by the Goethe Institut as a German language instructor and I have been teaching the language to University students and corporate employees since 12 years. Have done till C2 Level at Goethe Institut,
I am also additionally trained by Goethe Institut as an international examiner for Goethe certificate examinations and online tutor for German language. I have vast experience in preparing the students for the Goethe certification and also worked as an examiner on behalf of Goethe Institut since 10 years.
My lessons will focus on teaching effective communication in the language and also at the same time preparing the students for the international certification exams.
Lessons will include daily life situations, conversations and practical soft skills. Lessons will also have a cultural aspectadded to the language skills. I believe learning a language must include, learning about the culture, traditions of the country, which I integrate in my lesson plans.
