About Maalii
I’m a German native speaker and have been teaching German for over 15 years of all levels, stages, ages, and points of focus. I’m a professional opera singer and classical pianist and have taught German equally to colleagues who were preparing to work/sing in German-speaking countries as well as to children, teenagers, and adults who wanted to learn German for professional or personal reasons. Learning a new language spans cultural bridges and widens our horizons tremendously! I am looking forward to working with you!

In a German lesson with me, you’ll learn to expand your vocabulary, grammar, listening comprehension, reading, and conversational skills. We focus on whatever is most important to you and structure the lesson to your lesson-to-lesson needs. I like to work with a variety of tools and real-life elements of the German language, so the lesson stays interesting and fun! I've taught adults, teens, and children of all ages and stages and love to teach my mother tongue. After living in the States for many years, I especially understand the struggles native English speakers often have when it comes to learning German. There are fun and effective ways to overcome these, may it be grammar, pronunciation, or other elements.

Magda is a great teacher and very interdisciplinary. I took German lessons with her for a long time and she was able to tailor lessons to my needs, from literature to writing to colloquial conversation.
