About Nika
Hi! I’m Nika, an experienced German language tutor, living in Germany, with over 15 years of teaching experience. I have been teaching German alongside my studies and professional career, and I have been living in Germany for the past 8+ years.
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Germany and have professional experience working in marketing departments of German companies, where German is my everyday working language. My work includes creating German-language content, social media posts and communication materials for German-speaking clients and audiences.
I speak English fluently and teach German through English, which allows me to explain grammar, vocabulary and complex concepts in a clear and accessible way.
Having learned German myself and used it for years in everyday, academic and professional environments, I understand the challenges learners face. My goal is to help students move beyond textbook German and develop the confidence to communicate naturally in real-life situations.

Learn German for Real Life - Speak, Understand and Think with Confidence!
My teaching approach combines structured language learning with practical communication. Rather than focusing only on memorizing grammar rules and vocabulary lists, I help students understand how German works and immediately apply what they learn in real conversations.
Each lesson is adapted to your current level, learning pace and personal goals. A typical class includes a combination of speaking practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, listening and reading. We work with practical examples and situations you are likely to encounter in Germany - from everyday conversations and appointments to university and professional communication.
I explain German through English, which is especially helpful for beginners and international students who want to understand difficult grammar concepts clearly before applying them in German.
My lessons follow a simple principle: understand → practice → speak → repeat. New vocabulary and grammar are introduced in context and then reinforced through conversation and exercises, so you learn to use them actively rather than simply recognize them.
