About Blaize

I started playing guitar at age 4. I spent my early years studying all genres of guitar and music. In my teenage years, I started making beats with my friends. I also started making backing tracks to play guitar to. Over the years I started collaborating with songwriters and learning how to engineer and mix. I now study music production and engineering at Berklee College of Music, and have the privilege of working with all different styles of great songwriters.

About the lesson

We will start by diving into your favorite artists and their productions. In my experience the best method to learn music production and engineering is to emulate other artists and then apply those techniques to your own songs. We will go down the rabbit hole of microphones, recording, mixing, arranging, and editing at your pace and will make sure that you are having fun and making music that you are proud of every step of the way!

Blaize is wonderful! He’s teaching our daughter piano and is SO PATIENT. His explanations and expectations of her are very clear and achievable and he never gets upset or angry if she gets distracted. He’s very knowledgeable and encouraging. She looks forward to lessons every week and so do we! So thankful we found him and that he’s helping our girl learn a love of music.
