About Jan
I have been teaching for over ten years, helping countless students at school- and university-level.
Most of my students found their fundamental skills cemented and ready to learn the real difficult concepts. I make sure that my students achieve their goals, including getting top grades in their exams.
I work at King's College London as a Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant. My days are spent in the depth of Maths and Physics, coupled with Computer Programming in MATLAB, Python, and C++.

I am a researcher in biomedical engineering, including cancer research, AI, neural networks, and heart disease. I focus on teaching engineering subjects, such as Maths and Physics, and all their devolved subsections such as Mechanics and Electromagnetism. My students are usually somewhere between Year 8 and First Year of University. I am comfortable with younger students too, with more basic skills.
I follow a SABIS-style teaching methodology:
1. Explaining a concept.
2. Showing examples.
3. Solving basic questions.
4. Repeating the above for every concept.
5. Solving homework-style questions.
6. Periodically: going through Exam-style questions.
7. Before exams: Review, and solving Sample or Past Exam Papers.
