About Warren

With 10+ years of tutoring experience, I teach Piano to school students, college students, and working professionals. I am passionate about helping learners develop strong musical skills while making the learning process simple, enjoyable, and comfortable. My goal is to help every student become more confident with the piano and enjoy their progress.

My teaching philosophy is based on communication, patience, flexibility, understanding, and encouragement. I believe every student has a different learning style, so I first understand their current level, musical interests, goals, strengths, and challenges. I then adjust my teaching methods and lesson pace according to their needs.

I teach piano fundamentals, posture, hand coordination, finger technique, scales, chords, rhythm, music theory, note reading, sight-reading, ear training, song learning, improvisation, and performance preparation. I use demonstrations, practical exercises, and real musical examples to make difficult concepts easier to understand.

I encourage students to ask questions and communicate openly about their difficulties. When a learner finds a particular piece or technique challenging, I divide it into smaller parts and guide them step by step. I believe mistakes are a natural part of learning and can help students improve.

I also focus on developing good practice habits. I teach students how to manage their practice time, set realistic goals, work on difficult sections, and track their progress.

A notable achievement in my career is gaining 9 years of experience teaching students from different age groups and skill levels. This has helped me develop strong adaptability, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.

My aim is to help students become confident, creative, disciplined, and independent piano players. Whether you want to learn piano as a hobby, improve your technique, learn songs, or prepare for a performance, I provide personalized guidance and continuous support.

About the lesson

My piano teaching approach combines Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I aim to provide complete piano education that develops technique, musical knowledge, creativity, confidence, and enjoyment.

I begin by understanding the student's current level, musical interests, learning preferences, and goals. I then design lessons that balance technical exercises, music theory, practical playing, and suitable songs.

Students learn posture, hand position, finger coordination, note reading, rhythm, scales, chords, sight-reading, ear training, and musical expression. I use demonstrations, visual guidance, listening exercises, written examples, repetition, and practical activities.

I adjust my teaching methods according to each student's needs. Flexibility allows me to change lesson pace and difficulty based on progress, while collaboration gives students an active role in selecting music, setting goals, and discussing their development.

I maintain a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I provide constructive feedback and encourage students to focus on steady improvement.

In addition to piano, I can teach music theory, keyboard skills, rhythm, chords, sight-reading, ear training, basic composition, and music appreciation. My goal is to make piano learning simple, engaging, and rewarding while helping every student develop into a confident and expressive musician.
