About Aim
With 9 years of experience as a piano tutor, I have taught students ranging from young beginners to advanced college learners and working professionals. My teaching philosophy centres on creating a supportive, motivating, and creative learning environment where students can build technical skills, musical understanding, and self-expression.
I have successfully guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them achieve milestones and develop performance confidence. My lessons focus on technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and expressive playing, while also encouraging creativity and exploration of different musical styles. I strive to make each lesson meaningful, engaging, and inspiring, cultivating a lifelong love for music in my students.

My teaching methodology is rooted in compassion, clear communication, and strong support. Supportiveness is key—I celebrate achievements, help students overcome challenges, and maintain a positive learning environment. This approach extends to other subjects I teach, including music theory, composition, and basic improvisation.
My aim is to help students grow not just in skill but also in confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music and learning.
