About Nekha
Hello, my name is Nekha, and I’m from a small city in the UK! I give engaging and personalised language tutoring lessons, to a range of students!
I break down the difficult parts of the subject you’re learning, into a simpler format, and I can patiently work with you to facilitate your understanding, so you can quickly progress.
I have had experience with volunteering to work with students struggling with French, in my high school. I really enjoyed this, because I found the role immensely fulfilling - being able to help students understand the subject better, and watching them gradually improve their skills, was incredibly satisfying. This led me to want to consider a tutoring position.
Apart from tutoring, and learning languages (I speak 3 to a high level, and am currently learning German), I enjoy reading, karate, and have a passion for animals!

If you’re looking for one-on-one tutoring, that is enthusiastic, and catered to the areas you need to target, I’m the one to contact. I break down the difficult concepts you’ve been taught, into a simpler and more engaging format, and I can patiently work with you to facilitate your understanding, so you can achieve the grades you need. I will use a variety of teaching techniques to best explain the information you need to know.
I truly believe that understanding is the first step to truly learning anything, so this will always be ensured first! This will mean communication with you, the student, to focus on what you need help with.
Active learning, that is engaging, is the key to actually then retain the information you’ve understood. This is why my next step is to use a variety of engaging techniques, like mnemonics and flashcards, to memorise the information you need to know. Most importantly for younger students who are just entering the academic environment, this makes learning fun and engaging, and fosters an appreciation for it.
Questions, feedback, and active participation (to the level the individual student is comfortable with) are a vital part of my lessons, as I believe they are the only way to truly learn and grow, so they are always welcome.
