About Anna

Dobry dien! I am called Anna. I was born and raised in a great beautiful country which is Russia. For more than 10 years, I have been studying the intercultural characteristics of my country, the mentality of its people, its culture and its language. And one thing that I know for sure is that the language is much easier and more interesting to learn in conjunction with the country itself, with its culture and its mentality. This is the particularity of my Russian lessons: my students learn the language by discovering Russia, beautiful and immense!

About the lesson

I give Russian lessons on 4 basic approaches and levels of Russian language proficiency: -1- "I'm starting in Russian" - these are the basics of the language. Everything is there, starting with the beautiful Russian alphabet, together we will go through the basics. And as usual, I will try to keep your motivation up by adding to the classic grammar and vocabulary some Russian songs, poems, clips from the movies, notes on Russia and so on. This course is suitable for beginners who are interested in Russia and the Russian language and have not yet started studying it. -2- "I'm progressing in Russian" - this is the next level when you already have the basics in Russian. Here we are going to draw a more complete picture of the Russian language by adding all kinds of small parts: grammar notes, popular and useful phrases, thematic vocabulary, songs and movies, etc. Those of you who were part of the Russian Club on my old site are familiar with this format and my approach. New content will also be posted here every week. -3- “I speak Russian” If you want to practice listening and writing Russian on a daily basis, this course is for you. The format of this course is familiar to those who subscribe to my YouTube channel and have taken courses in the “Говорим по-русски” (Let's speak Russian) video series. This is a fascinating journey into the world of culture, mentality, nature and of course the Russian language. We are getting closer to Russia and Russians and at the same time improving the Russian language. -4- "I'm preparing for a trip to Russia" - this is a course in which there will be no grammar, it is just a set of words, phrases and information that will be useful to you when you travel to Russia. All this is in the format of preparing for a trip, that is, at the same time you will find useful information, notes on Russian life and mentality, useful tips for travelers to Russia, etc. . In other words, you learn more about Russia and gradually form your own useful vocabulary for travel, without diving into the basics of the language.
