About Rachel

I'm a second-generation artist, Haliburton Painting and Drawing graduate, currently tutoring in Airdrie. I was raised on art, and am always excited to share my knowledge and passion with others. I have taught classes in Canada and the UK, working with both adults and children.

About the lesson

I believe in artistic freedom, and am happy to learn what my students want to achieve and help them reach those goals, as well as give them an understanding of the building blocks and fundamentals of art. In order to know what I need to teach a student, we need to have an open dialogue to discover their goals, abilities and knowledge

Rachel worked with me teaching students, both adults and children. She is a kind, caring and very proficient instructor! She is able to assess students' skill levels, and increase their confidence and skills, through encouragement and celebration of the small successes on the way to their larger goals.
