About Mehmooda

I am a Psychology graduate with a strong academic background and a deep understanding of human behavior, learning processes, and communication skills that I bring into every tutoring session. Currently, I’m pursuing my Master’s degree in Human Resource Development (HRD) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Johor, which further enhances my ability to connect with learners, understand their needs, and guide them effectively. My academic journey has helped me develop both subject matter expertise and soft skills like empathy, patience, and adaptability, all essential for creating a supportive and productive learning environment. Whether I’m teaching English, Psychology, or Biology, I strive to make each lesson not just informative, but motivating and confidence-building for every student.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is student-centered, interactive, and flexible to each learner’s needs. I focus on building a strong foundation in the subject, while also helping students develop critical thinking and confidence. I believe learning should be engaging, so I use a variety of methods including discussions, visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive activities to keep lessons dynamic and effective.

My lessons typically last between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student's preference and attention span. I offer both online and in-person sessions and adapt my teaching style to suit different learning levels and goals.

I have experience teaching English in physical classrooms here in Malaysia, and prior to that, I worked as an online tutor teaching English, Biology, and Psychology to students from all over the world. I hold an IELTS score of 7.5, which reflects my strong command of English, especially in academic and professional contexts.

My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, college students, and adult learners who want to improve their English, prepare for exams, or deepen their understanding of Biology and Psychology.
