About Lina

I am an experienced Spanish tutor with 5 years of teaching experience, working mainly with High School and College students. Over the years, I have successfully taught between 150 and 200 students, helping them understand Spanish clearly and use it with confidence in their studies and daily life.

My teaching philosophy is based on patience, practice, and personalisation. I believe that students learn best when lessons are clear and suited to their individual needs. I adjust my teaching methods according to the student’s level and learning speed. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking, using simple explanations and real-life examples.

One of my key achievements is helping students who struggled with Spanish turn it into one of their stronger subjects. Many of my students have improved their grades and performance in exams. I have also helped students become more confident speakers by encouraging regular conversation practice.

I create a supportive and friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to make Spanish easy to understand, enjoyable to learn, and useful for academic success and future opportunities.

About the lesson

As a mentor, I guide students through grammar clearly, encourage critical thinking, and help them analyse sentence structures. I support independent learning and build students’ confidence in speaking and writing.

Accountability is maintained through regular practice, goal setting, and progress monitoring. Students are encouraged to stay consistent and responsible for their improvement.

In addition to Spanish, I teach related subjects such as pronunciation skills, vocabulary building, conversational Spanish, grammar basics, and cultural awareness.
