I’m a double law masters student in UCD and have been playing the piano, violin, and guitar for over a decade. I received a H1 in leaving cert music, and am passionate about music having performed at CEBTSM concerts and school events.

I believe in a balance between theory and practical application. While I emphasise scales and musical theory knowledge as these are essential components of a well rounded pianist, I also believe that satisfaction with the instrument stems primarily from accomplishing pieces. In this line of thinking, I believe pieces should act as milestones of, and should directly reflect, theoretical work that’s been done.
