About Farrell

I come from a challenging background, and for a long time, I hated learning not because of the subjects themselves, but because I hated the person I was. I felt stuck, overwhelmed, and alone. But over time, I realized that learning could be a way to grow, to heal, and to build a better version of myself. And now, I want to help others do the same. I understand the struggles the pressure from school, family, friends, and the weight of not feeling “good enough.” That’s why I’m here: to make learning fun, adaptable, and empowering. I want to help you become confident in who you are, passionate about what you’re learning, and ready for whatever comes next. I’m here to help students stand out, lead, and feel proud of themselves not just in the classroom, but in life. I know what it’s like to be underestimated or bullied for not knowing something. That’s why I’m committed to making sure no student feels left behind. Together, we’ll build something better a brighter future where your voice, your journey, and your growth matter.

My name is Farrell and I’m an incoming student at the University of Ottawa in a dual Honors program: a BSocSc in International Development and Globalization, and a Joint Honors BA in History and Political Science. My academic background includes specialized courses in history, law, and the social sciences. I understand that every student learns differently, and I know how challenging it can be to grasp complex concepts. That’s why I take a patient, step-by-step approach to make learning more accessible and understandable. Who I work with: Primarily high school students in Grades 11 and 12 who are preparing for or currently taking English, social science, law, history, and humanities courses. Why me?
