About Charlie

I'm 22 years old and currently studying biology at University of Leeds... not quite music I know but piano really is an integral part of my life. I have been playing since 5 years old and achieved my ABRSM grade 8 with distinction at 16 years old. I've been fortunate enough to have been taught by the extraordinary pianist and organist, Mark Pescott, who played for Princess Beatrice's wedding! I have been surrounded by inspiring musicians my whole life and it's time you became one too :)

About the lesson

I want this to be a really fun experience but also a chance for you to really build a strong foundation of how to be a fantastic new pianist. We will start from scratch or at any stage you feel confident enough with and make sure to master both the pieces and the technical scales and theory too. I know it can seem really complicated at first (what on earth are those white and black keys?!) but hopefully my step by step approach to piano will get you playing like Mozart in no time!

The structure of the lesson really is dynamic based on the level we are at and the time you wish to spend with me. We will work together to format the structure so that all aspects of your necessary toolkit and skills are properly learnt
