Hi! My name is Will. I am 14 and currently studying for Grade 8 saxophone and GCSE music. I have been learning the saxophone for over 3 and a half years and have lots of experience playing in bands and ensembles along with performing regularly.

Each 30-minute lesson is carefully crafted to maximise learning efficiency and maintain focus, while still allowing for enjoyable exploration of the instrument. We will start with warm-up exercises to develop finger dexterity and breath control, then move on to simple melodies and scales to build confidence and musicality. Through interactive activities and guided practice, students will gradually expand their repertoire and develop essential skills like sight-reading and improvisation. As a tutor currently studying for my grade 8 qualification, I bring a fresh perspective and a deep commitment to continuous improvement. Although I'm currently in the process of attaining my grade 8 certificate, my ongoing study ensures that I'm deeply familiar with the curriculum, equipped with the latest techniques, and ready to support my students' learning journey effectively.
