About Robyn
Hi I'm Robyn!
School was never my favourite thing, I'd much rather be outside messing around with a hockey ball or making a mess on my mums kitchen table.
As I grew up I realised it wasn't that I didn't like school or learning, it was more the teaching style I didn't like. I preferred smaller group settings or 1-1 sessions that enabled me to really trust my teacher and get the most out of my lessons. With this I was able to achieve good grades at school and graduated from university with a First Class degree.
I understand that I am not the only one that feels like this so want to give others the opportunity to find their passion for learning.

My lessons are fun, engaging and educational - all in one! What a treat!
Every student learns differently so I think it is super important that I get to know the student before getting down to it. The first lesson will usually involve a few games and problems tested in a variety of ways so that I can understand their learning style.
From there, lessons range from 45 mins to 1 hour and will typically look like this:
- Review of any takeaway tasks
- Recap of previous lesson and answer student queries
- Introduction of new content
- Work through questions together
- Step by step guidance through exam questions (for GCSE students)
- Student-led questions
- Review
It seems like a lot but it flies! I am there every step of the way for my students!
