I base my lessons on the biological importance of each chemical process in the human body. I also discuss the industrial application of various biochemical pathways and also the unique qualities of different organisms, enzymes, drugs, phytochemicals and biosubstances in general that make them useful to humans.
I begin my lectures by introducing the particular concept to be taught using real life questions. Then I tell my students the importance of such concept and the need for them to know such concept. Then I explain the concept to the students. I usually end the class by discussing with the students on the applications and future discoveries that might be seen in fields using such concepts.
