About Gayathri

I hold a Ph. D. in biomedical engineering and nanomedicine, M. Tech and B. Tech in Nanotechnology, and I have excellent knowledge in fundamental science being involved in scientific research for over 5 years. I am highly passionate about imparting knowledge to students and I have tutored students who have shown outstanding improvement in their grades. I tune my teaching style based on the student's interest and I get my students interested in the subject by engaging them in various activities like quiz, video tutorials, etc. It gives me immense pleasure to share my knowledge with my students and seeing them excel at their studies.

About the lesson

My teaching is usually in a systematic manner which begins by setting a clear lesson goal where I plan and prepare myself on what I want my students to learn during each lesson. Then I start my lessons by telling/sharing information and knowledge while showing them relevant pictures and videos which I believe gives a greater impact. I take a lot of time in asking them questions during the lesson to check their understanding before moving to the next part of the lesson. Then I summarise the lesson before finishing a class and also get the students to summarise it briefly for me. I believe that a lot of self practice is very important to retain the knowledge that is gained and also to test their understanding. So I prepare a lot of practice activities for my students and give them time to time feedbacks to improve as well as motivate them. Along with teaching contents, I also teach my students strategies for learning in an effective manner.
