About Nicholas

I’m Nicholas, I hold a B.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences, graduating summa cum laude and an M.Sc. in Cell & Molecular Biology. I have six years of research experience in molecular biology labs. Students describe me as patient, organized, and clear. I come prepared with diagnostics, visuals, and a plan; I’m punctual, responsive, and respectful of accommodations. You’ll get honest feedback, predictable scheduling, and a calm, encouraging environment that builds confidence and measurable progress.

About the lesson

I’m an M.Sc. in Cell & Molecular Biology who helps students replace memorization with a fundamental understanding of concepts. My methodology blends quick diagnostics, concept maps, active-recall questions, and exam-style drills. A typical lesson: 1)check-in and mini-diagnostic to determine where we need to focus, 2) teach one tricky concept with a worked example, 3) guided practice, 4) student teaches me the concept, 5) a short weekly plan to guide continued learning. What sets me apart is research-level clarity. Given my extensive work in the field of biochemistry, I provide a more practical perspective on classroom problems that helps students remember the material. Lessons are ideal for high school and university-level Biology/Chemistry, and I can also offer MCAT prep help for a 510+ score. Free 20-minute diagnostic available.
