About EVA
I have been teaching as a tutor for almost 10 years. At work, I really delve into a deeper understanding of the material. I adapt my explanation and tasks to each student individually: I adjust the pace, exercises and the explanation itself. An instructor is not just a teacher, but first and foremost an assistant who must establish a trusting and relaxed relationship with their students. In my classes, I want to create a space in which they are not afraid to say or ask anything. I really want to understand them, which does not mean that I am lenient. In my work, I am consistent, if necessary strict, but at the same time very patient and humane. I try to create a relaxed, safe environment with my students, where there is no fear of questions or mistakes. My goal is not only a better grade, but also that the student becomes more confident and independent in Slovenian.

Hello, I offer individual Slovenian language instruction for primary and secondary school students. My approach is one-on-one, because I find it to be the most effective way of learning – this way I can really focus on what is causing the individual difficulties, while also establishing a connection and trust with the student, as difficulties are often the result of nervousness, fear or poor self-image. At the beginning, we have an introductory lesson, where we look at current knowledge and find out where the gaps are. Then, at regular meetings, we focus on consolidating school material, explaining misunderstood content and gradually upgrading knowledge. I always prepare tasks and explanations specifically for each student. I have 10 years of experience with instruction, I work a lot individually, and I also help with preparing for the graduation essay, writing essays and understanding literary texts. The instruction is suitable for primary and secondary school students and foreigners.

Eva inštruira mojega sina slovenščino, dvakrat na teden. Z njo smo zelo zadovoljni, ker zna govoriti "najstovščino" in narediti uro zanimivo tudi "pubertetnikom". Pri nas je glavni problem lenoba in Eva je pravi naslov za to, saj zna biti tudi stroga in včasih priganjati. Njeni primeri so taki, da si jih sin enostavno zapomni. Pri njej imamo redne inštrukcije. Ocene so se izboljšale, predvsem pa odnos do predmeta in samozavest.
