About Gabriel

A little bit about my background: Having sat for the UCAT multiple times, and achieving a high score of 3000+ in 2022, I received 4/4 medical school interview offers and have shared that knowledge with many of my students in the past, helping them achieve the dream of getting into medical school. I have also extensively tutored many GCSE and A-level students, helping them move up 3-4 grades in some cases. I try to spend as much time as I can working with students with learning disabilities or from impoverished backgrounds with limited access to schooling, and I have been able to coach struggling and failing students to comfortably pass their exams. From my years of tutoring, I have learnt the main difficulties students face, and come up with key strategies to help them become more confident and competent in their abilities.

About the lesson

Hi! I am offering sessions to help with medical school applications (Including personal statements, general strategy and entrance exam prep, particularly the UCAT) as well as GCSE and A-level Biology tutoring.

I have been coaching students for the last 6 years, helping them get through the rigorous hurdle of applying to medical school, and getting the grades they need to gain a place at the university they want. I focus heavily on strategy and learning techniques, as content is not the hardest part of any learning endeavour. Still, it is the technique with which you apply to learning the content that helps students to be as efficient as possible with the little time they have to allocate. I don't believe that medical school applications should take over your life - with proper coaching and planning, it can be a fun experience!
