Graduate Entry Medicine student University of Nottingham, PhD in Theoretical Mathematics. Extensive experience in tutoring in Maths, Further Maths, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry individual or groups for GCSEs and A-Levels for more than 5 years.
High rate of satisfaction among students I tutored. A high percentage of them has achieved their competitive target grades to get into medical school. Personalised style of tutoring based on students need and their aim for the future.
First lesson as introductory to assess skill and motivation of the student.
Lessons duration is 1.5 hrs.
My teaching method includes use of technology and visual aide to make explanations more clear to students. Students are encouraged to actively participate in the lesson by asking relevant questions.
Use of study guides to explain concepts of the syllabus for first 45 minutes and practice with questions from past papers for the last 45 minutes.
Offer of 1:1 lessons of science strategy, 1 hr to give advice on how to tackle exams being confident and relaxed.
Excellent knowledge of Edexcel, OCR, AqA and CEI international syllabus.
