Michiko is an excellent musician and teacher! My then-5-year-old daughter had her very first piano lessons from her; Michiko was always kind, patient, and cheerful, and at the end of each lesson, she would praise my daughter for having such passion to learn.
We first met Michiko in her hometown, Fukuoka, Japan. Now that her career is in the US, Michiko always tries to find some lesson time for my daughter whenever she returns home despite her tight schedule.
