About Odalys
I am an upbeat, enthusiastic, outgoing, hardworking pianist with more than 20 years of experience playing, and in the teaching field for more than 7 years. I grew up playing classical music, being involved with the Suzuki Method, and getting awards and certificates along the way. I am Berklee College of Music graduate, getting my Bachelors of Arts in Contemporary Writing and Production. I have also played in many orchestras around my area playing percussion, saxophone and bassoon. I have been able to travel around the world playing music, and studied abroad in Valencia, Spain, getting the opportunity to play in various festivals and radio shows all over Europe, such as BBC Radio in London, UK, EXIB Music Festival in Setubal, Portugal, Jazz-FM radio in London,UK amongst many others. Having the privilege of having this rich background in multi-cultural genres has helped me develop, grow and travel as a musician.

My teaching methods is by understanding your form of playing, and implementing many techniques I've learned throughout the years. I will have theory, harmony, solfege, and even some help with counterpoint as well. I will be going in depth with our classes, we will learn many important things that revolve around music, on a global scale and on a local scale. Our classes can be from beginner lessons, all the way to advanced lessons.All genres, there is no discrimination here. Improvisation will also be very important for you to learn.
I am looking forward to working with you, and having the honor to be your tutor. I am very outgoing, enthusiastic, understanding and empathetic. You can trust that you will succeed all of your musical dreams, as I did.
