Guitar:
I have 16+ years of playing experience growing up gigging around the Bay Area to studying guitar as my principle instrument at Berklee in Boston. I specialize in improvisation and songwriting and can equip you with the tools to unlock your flow state and create the music you feel called towards in any style. My lessons are hands-on, interactive and finely adapted to your skill level. You will be given weekly exercises and pieces to practice in order to facilitate the learning process.

Production:
As an Electronic Production and Design major at Berklee, I have extensive and vast knowledge of every aspect of the production pipeline, from synthesis, sampling, composition to recording, mixing and mastering. I focus my lessons around Ableton Live; a limited free version is available for those who do not yet have a full license. We will learn the fundamentals of the process through approaching the software one step at a time, taking the complex and breaking it down into simple, digestible exercises and activities.
The goal is for you to thoroughly understand the production process in incremental chunks and then to quickly begin creating your own productions using these skills as we begin integrating them. Together we'll refine and expand on assignments, further developing your creative voice and clarifying any points of confusion or misunderstanding along the way.

Travis is a skilled, intuitive, and fun guitar teacher! Connected with him at Berklee when I was having trouble in a jazz guitar class I was taking. As a voice major, I took elective guitar and was feeling a little lost in class. After working with Travis I not only better understood the class material, but have since really taken to rhythm guitar and can accompany myself singing! Sessions with Travis were not only fun, but he really made the guitar feel approachable! Highly recommended!
