About Griffin

I chose to tutor children because I truly believe that every child learns differently, and each student deserves instruction that meets their unique needs. Learning is not one-size-fits-all, and I am passionate about helping children build confidence in themselves while strengthening their academic skills.
I have been surrounded by classrooms and education for as long as I can remember, which has given me a deep understanding of how children learn in different ways and at different paces. For the past four years, I have worked as a substitute teacher, gaining hands-on experience across multiple grade levels and learning styles. I am also a graduate of Central Michigan University, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education (PK–6).

About the lesson

As a tutor, I strive to be fun, compassionate, patient, and hardworking. I believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable, so I use creative and flexible approaches to make lessons interesting and meaningful for each child. I adapt well to students’ needs, whether that means slowing down, trying a new strategy, or finding a different way to explain a concept until it clicks.
Parents and guardians can expect me to be reliable, punctual, and communicative. I value clear communication and collaboration with families to ensure students feel supported both at home and during tutoring sessions. Most importantly, I am deeply passionate about education and committed to creating a positive learning environment where children feel encouraged, capable, and excited to learn.
My goal is not only academic growth, but also helping each child feel confident, motivated, and proud of their progress.
