About Jasmine
My name is Jasmine Reader, I have experience both performing and directing, as well as having sat on audition panels. I have a first class degree in Acting from East 15 Acting School, this course gave me all the fundamentals you need to make yourself known within the performing industry.
I also have a lot of practical teaching experience with people of all ages. I have experience working with all abilities.

My approach to teach is personal and unique, no two people are the same so why would we learn the same? I like to use Stanislavsky’s methods in a fun and exciting way, whilst exploring subtleties within the text to help make your performance stand out. Acting is all about playing so it’s important to me that we have fun whilst working together.
Typically a lesson with me will be an hour long, however if a shorter session would work better for you I can arrange this. Equally if we are doing some great work I will extend the session should it suit.
I use many techniques in my sessions, introducing my students to the work of Konstantin Stanislavsky, Rudolf Laban and Sanford Meisnor to name a few. I believe acting is about exploration and together we will explore a range of rehearsal techniques and texts to find what suits you best.
I have a first class Acting degree from East 15 Acting School, as well as experience working in the industry. I have taught at many performing groups and within school settings.
