About Guadalupe
Recently completed studies at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department and played as Principal Oboe for the National Youth Orchestra, performing at BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall. Currently studying English at the University of Cambridge. Further, learning baroque oboe under the tutelage of Katharina Spreckelsen, teacher at the Royal Academy of Music and Principal oboe with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the English Concert. Also studying oboe under the tutelage of Philip Harmer, teacher at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department and Co-principal oboe of the English Chamber Orchestra. Oboe lessons of 1h-1h 30 min aimed at all levels. In teaching, I prioritise the enjoyment of the student, focusing on personalised attention to the needs of every student.
• Principal Oboe of the London Schools Symphony Orchestra 2023
• Joint Principal Oboe of the National Youth Orchestra 2025
• Secured scholarship offers after auditioning in October of 2024 at the Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama
• Studying English at Cambridge
• Member of the Cambridge University Symphony Orchestra
• Performs regularly in venues such as Trinity College Chapel in a range of orchestral projects at the University of Cambridge
