My approach is student-centered, meaning I adapt my teaching style to the needs and learning pace of the student. I emphasize the following:

Active Learning: Rather than just explaining concepts, I encourage students to engage in discussions, ask questions, and solve problems during the lesson. This helps them develop a deeper understanding.

Conceptual Clarity: I focus on breaking down complex topics into simpler parts, ensuring students grasp the core concepts before moving on to more advanced material.

Use of Analogies and Real-Life Examples: I use relatable analogies and examples to make abstract or complex topics easier to understand. For instance, in psychology, I might use everyday behaviors to explain cognitive processes.

Interactive Tools: I incorporate diagrams, flowcharts, and visual aids to reinforce learning. For biology, I may use models or videos to explain physiological processes, while in psychology, case studies and experiments can enhance understanding.

Revision and Practice: I assign small tasks or quizzes to help consolidate learning after each lesson, ensuring students retain and apply their knowledge.

A standard lesson is typically 60 minutes. This provides ample time to cover the core content, engage in discussions, and allow for questions. For more advanced or in-depth topics, a 90-minute session may be scheduled to ensure thorough coverage without overwhelming the student.

hold a strong background in both psychology and biology, with extensive experience in tutoring students at different educational levels:

I have tutored students in biology at both high school and introductory college levels, covering topics from cell biology to human physiology.

My qualifications include a Master’s in Clinical Neuropsychiatry and a Bachelor's in Psychology, ensuring I have both theoretical knowledge and practical insights to offer.

Biology Lessons: Suitable for school students (ages 11–16) preparing for school exams and GCSEs

Psychology Lessons: Designed for school students, college and undergraduate students interested in psychology as a subject or considering pursuing a degree in psychology.
