About Katelyn
My name is Katelyn, I am 24 years old. I am currently awaiting my Bachelor’s degree but I have a strong interest in helping students improve their language skills in a clear, practical, and encouraging way. I enjoy working one-to-one because it allows me to understand each learner’s individual goals, challenges, and learning style, and to adapt my teaching accordingly. I want to teach because I find it rewarding to see students grow in confidence and ability, especially when they begin to express themselves more clearly in English. My aim is not only to help students succeed in exams or assignments, but also to give them the skills to use English effectively in everyday life, study, and future

My personal approach to private tutoring in English is centered on building confidence, clarity, and steady progress tailored to each learner’s needs. I place strong emphasis on communication skills, reading, writing, speaking, and listening in a balanced way, while also focusing on grammar and vocabulary in practical, real-world contexts rather than isolated drills. I aim to create a supportive and low-pressure environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are treated as part of the learning process. By combining clear explanations, guided practice, and regular feedback, I help students not only improve their English but also become more independent and confident users of the language.
