About Juliana

I am Juliana Hahn, I am Irish and just moved to Wexford after having lived in the Netherlands for 13 years. In the Netherlands I studied at the Conservatory in Amsterdam in classical Piano performance and did a Masters in Music according to the Kodaly Method, which is focused on teaching music through singing, games and activities which establishes a strong foundation in rhythm and pitch. I currently perform in a duo called Poems Ago and accompany singers.

About the lesson

I am a seasoned teacher of piano and musicianship with 15 years of experience. My lessons are fun and inspiring. I first and foremost want the student to unleash their creative powers, joy of music and how this translates to their instrument. I teach how to play by ear, read music, compose and improvise. I teach all levels and all ages. I tailor the lesson to suit the individual, whether it be preparation for ABRSM or RIAM exams, or else learning to improvise Bach Fugues. I am trained in the Kodaly method and am a graduate of the Conservatory in Amsterdam.
