About Robert
My Name is Rob, I am from Dublin and I currently live in Spain, in Barcelona where I am working and writing a musical.
I believe anyone that can speak can learn to sing. We are making so many different sounds with our voices everyday. We can use this to learn the position the larynx needs to be in when preforming a certain part of a song for example.
I use visuals and demonstrations to get the point across and try to build a collective language with my students.
Music theory is very important when learning to sing and communicate with other musicians. Through the lessons, occasionally we will include theoretical aspects of music if the student is interested.

Lesson plans are based on the learners needs. We will do through some warm-ups at the start, incorporating different vocal exercises that forces on one part the voice at a time. This will then feed into the practice of repertoire.
If the student is curious about the study of music theory, we can explore this in our classes also.
