About Florensia
Florensia is an Indonesian-Australian actor and director. She graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (2021) in Sydney with a Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance and studied Theatre Arts at Melbourne Polytechnic (2019).
She is also trained in the Meisner technique at the Actors Pulse and taught in acting workshops for schools in various different countries. Since graduating, Florensia has used
her creativity in diverse art forms ranging from theatre to screen to dance and song. Her most recent theatre performances include The Problem is the Ending (2024) which toured internationally all over Europe, Asia and Africa with BYTE,
Shadowfall (2023)- also as an associate artist at BYTE and Dear Sun, Love Joy (2022) - performed at La Mama Theatre. Her screen work consists of featuring in
Criminal Investigations Australia (2022) and starring in short films; The Expedition of the Missing Lighter (2022) and Vomitus Dialogue (2019) submitted to fringe festivals. She is not only a versatile performer but also loves directing and
devising. Florensia has successfully directed, co-written and produced a modern adaptation of an Indonesian folklore into a stage production called Ande Ande Lumut (2023) at the Capitol Theatre sponsored by SBS and other media organizations. She is excited to continue exploring different approaches to performances and combining traditional Indonesian storytelling and western storytelling.

Indonesian
Standard lessons run for an hour. Can also add more time if needed. Whether it be a self-tape audition, drama school audition, an upcoming play or a scene for class I am here to help. I will usually focus on Stanislavsky method, focusing on objectives and given circumstances but will also use other methods and strategies suited for you. I am currently upgrading my self-tape setup so lessons would be online unless you aren’t needing to tape.
