About Emilio
As I mentioned before, I am a professional composer specializing in music for cinema and audiovisual media. My background has taught me the versatility of music and how to achieve results using different methods and techniques. Everyone is unique in how they develop their art, and the key is to find the approach that suits YOU best. Learning music should be enjoyable, not a chore.
Coming from Chile, I have many influences from Latin music. My studies at a jazz academy further deepened my understanding of music, taking it to another level.
My love for music began when I was a little kid. I started playing guitar at the age of 6 and have never stopped. As I pursued my specialization in cinema and audiovisual media, I learned to play the piano to compose in a DAW and because i love the versatility of it. The piano, as a fundamental instrument, allows me to understand the workings of an entire orchestra, making everything clear and playable.
Additionally, I explored my passion for percussion by taking bongo classes, fulfilling another dream of becoming a percussionist. I am constantly seeking new ways to become a more well-rounded musician and composer. By understanding the intricacies of different instruments, I can create compositions that truly reflect their unique qualities.

Perfect! My daughter loves Emilio, she is up to her 3rd lesson and already we are seeing improvements in her ability to improvise and chord variations. Her finger work has improved and she genuinely looks forward to classes.
