About Janine

My name is Janine. Growing up I always wanted to be a lawyer, until I became a mother. Being a mother have me a new found purpose. I now have 4 children aged 5, 9, 13 and 15. Being a part of their growth is an incredible experience. They have taught me that no 2 children are the same. I began working as a lunch time assistant at a secondary school, Clacton County High School. Being a part of the school and experiencing the education system was a privilege and an honour. Shortly after I began my employment there, I soon realised what my true purpose besides being a mother is for my life. I realised I was born to teach. Whilst there I started my studies whilst continuing my employment. I was able to connect with students, particularly those that felt troubled at times. They would open up and I would listen. My mum instinct kicked in and I knew that during those lunchtimes, they just needed someone to listen, something their peers couldn’t offer. I’m addition, I was able with witness how students learn and the school supports each and every student. My new found dream wasn’t chosen my me, it was chosen by fate. I know I am supposed to be a apart of students growth and education, to help them become who they want to be as an adult. To find the career and future they are destined to have. Education is extremely important to me, and so it helping others. My goal and dream is to be able to help make a difference to students for their futures. Education helped me become the person I am today and education has helped mould my children’s future. To teach would be an honour and would enable to me to pass forward the incredible teachings I once received and my children now receive. Teaching moulds everyone’s futures and it is my hope and dream to be a part of making a difference to students education and future. I recently lost my step father (Keith Teesdale) to cancer in June, prior to his passing, he’s spent much of his life teaching at Colbaynes Secondary School, now known as CCA, my step father has always been an inspiration to me and I’d love nothing more than to carry on in his foot steps helping students and guiding them into their futures.

About the lesson

I will provide a calm and structured lesson. I have a broad knowledge and understanding of the subject as well as having knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and SEMH. I can provide a lesson durations to suit your needs for anyone aged 11 and above. Whilst I haven’t any teaching experience in a school, I do have experience working with children. I have a BA degree as well as GCSE’s and A levels
