About Jaime
I am a middle school math teacher who loves math and is passionate about helping young people feel empowered and confident to love math themselves. I believe that mistakes lead to deeper learning and create an environment that allows for trial and error, discovery, and understanding. As a tutor, I can provide an individualized study plan for achieving goals that encourages real understanding of the math, rather than just rote memorization.

I use the latest research backed approach for mathematics education that combines student-led discovery and exploration with teacher-led direct instruction. This allows students time at the beginning of the lesson to explore the concepts, and then solidify their learning through practice. I can teach any levels of middle school-high school math and specialize in pre-calculus and algebra.
