About Makenzie
The University of Michigan is known for producing some of the brightest and the best students in the country. I was one of the lucky few to be selected to attend university on a full scholarship due to my leadership experience and my academic accomplishments. As I am currently waiting to start my next educational step after having been accepted to veterinary school, I guarantee I know how the educational grind works and I am eager to share all of the tricks I have learned over the years to those who are willing to listen.

Studying isn't just about the memorization of the material; it's about its application. I start study seasons with basic recognition of material through flash cards or worksheets, working through them with students to make sure they have a solid understanding of the material. From there, I will give the student chances to apply their knowledge to new, but relevant, challenges. I recognize that everyone learns differently and will work with my students to figure out the best learning techniques for them.
