About KG
I’ve always loved working with kids and students of all ages—from little ones just starting out to college students navigating tougher challenges. Whether it’s through tutoring, spending summers as a camp counselor, or babysitting, I’m passionate about creating a space where students feel truly seen, heard, and confident in their abilities. I’ve written hundreds of essays, tackled every science and math AP course available, and taken my share of tough exams like the ACT and MCAT, scoring in the 95th percentile on both. Because of this, I know how overwhelming school can sometimes feel and I know how rewarding it is when things finally click. My approach is simple: I listen first, then tailor lessons to fit exactly what you need. Whether we’re working on math, science, writing, or test prep, my goal is to make learning feel doable and even enjoyable. I’m here not just to teach but to cheer you on, celebrate your progress, and help you believe in yourself as much as I do. Together, we’ll figure out what works best for you, tackle challenges head-on, and make sure you walk away from every session feeling more confident and ready for whatever comes next.

Our first lesson will focus on getting to know you and your interests, strengths, challenges, and goals for tutoring. I want to make sure our time together is all about supporting you, so we can tailor each session to fit your needs. After that, lessons will stay flexible but always hands-on. Whether it’s creating lesson plans for topics you find confusing, preparing for tests, brainstorming and editing essays, or reviewing homework in detail, we’ll work together to find what works best. And if something isn’t clicking, we’ll adjust and try a new approach. No matter what you need, I’m here to support you with patience, empathy, and clear explanations. My goal is for you to leave every lesson feeling confident, understood, and maybe even having had a little fun along the way!
