Graduate from the University of Oregon with a degree in Human Physiology. I taught in the anatomy cadaver lab for a year and have been tutoring since. I also can teach English as a second language.

About Jacey
I am 23 years old and a recent graduate from the University of Oregon. During my time there, I was involved in multiple programs that helped mentor and teach students. My time in the cadaver lab gave me an immense amount of hands on teaching experience. I love working with students at all levels. I currently tutor a few high school students in anatomy. I am currently applying to PA school which requires a high level of professionalism. I am timely, respectful, and open to feedback.
Additionally, I spent 3 months teaching in a middle/high school in rural Spain. I worked alongside English teachers to develop lesson plans and class activities. I also privately tutored students and families who wanted to practice or learn English.

I can teach anatomy and physiology from high school level to college. I am enthusiastic about teaching medical terminology and anatomical structures. I maintain a positive and engaging learning environment. I practice hands-on, inclusive, and evidence-based teaching by developing practice exams, referring to diagrams, and sharing mnemonics and memorization skills to make the process interactive.
While teaching English as a second language, I use the same approach and develop games and interactive activities to develop conversational skills and writing and reading skills while learning new vocabulary.
