About Cara
My name is Cara, having studied Chinese for 5 years (Japanese for 2 and French for 3), I have learnt the joy of getting better at a language and the great feeling you get when you can communicate and understand with a whole other group of people. I hope that I can help people get this experience and help them understand the satisfaction of learning a language.

In our first lesson I will do an informal assessment of your language level and then discuss with you which areas you wish to focus on the most. I like to use a range in materials, including worksheets, music, videos, and online language websites. The class will begin with a short warmup exercise and vocabulary test (don't worry - these are informal and just help you have a vocal learning target!), and then depending on the length of the class we will aim to complete 3-5 other exercises.
