About Siri
I have a bachelor's from the University of Pittsburgh. I am a pre-med student who graduated with a 3.99 GPA and 4.0 GPA in high school. I tutored college students and grade school students during my time in college for 3 years and was also a teaching assistant for biology and chemistry professors. My experience allows me to teach with practical and academic insight. I understand the pressure students face—from heavy coursework to exam anxiety—and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and capable. I’m patient, empathetic, and detail-oriented, but also structured enough to keep students accountable and progressing. I offer a clear, structured, and highly personalized tutoring approach built on years of academic excellence and professional experience. With extensive science and math knowledge, and a strong background in tutoring and research, I know how to break down challenging material in a way that actually makes sense. My sessions are organized, calm, and goal-oriented. I use proven learning techniques—active recall, guided practice, and tailored study plans—to help students build confidence and master difficult concepts. I maintain a professional, supportive environment where students feel heard, respected, and genuinely encouraged. I use the 80-20 rule where the student is talking 80% of the time and I am talking 20% because the less is for the student! Students can trust that they’re learning from someone who not only understands the material at a deep level but also knows how to teach it effectively. I use learning scaffolds to prioritize helping every student succeed with clarity, confidence, and consistent progress.

I adjust my explanations based on each student’s learning style and encourage questions to make sure every concept feels manageable. A Typical Lesson Plan 1. Quick check-in on goals, progress, or any challenging concepts from class. 2. Targeted review of the core topic, broken into clear explanations. 3. Guided practice, where we work through problems together. 4. Independent attempt so you can apply what you learned confidently. 5. Mini-assessment (questions, summary, or retrieval practice) to reinforce learning. 6. Personalized study plan with what to review and how to study efficiently that week. My tutoring is ideal for: High school and college students, Pre-med or pre-health students (can help with MCAT), students in STEM AP classes, elementary and middle school students in math classes/sciences. I teach courses such as algebra, geometry, biology, general chemistry, psychology, and introductory medical-adjacent subjects like organic chemistry and biochemistry.
