About Timothy

I am a student currently in my gap year after graduating with a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Economics (3.8 GPA). I currently work as a software validator in Clinical Research.
I have worked as a private tutor part-time since 2018 and have been a tutor since 2016.

I mainly teach math and science subject material as well as piano and music theory, but I do teach economics and guitar as well.

I respond to emails and messages usually within the hour during the daytime, but if I see a notification I will respond to it right then.

I am also very flexible with scheduling and I am always understanding and open to changes that occur in a timely manner.

About the lesson

My teaching style is usually example and practice-based, but I also try to adapt the approach to teaching in order to find the gap in their understanding of the material.

A typical lesson plan is usually formulated on the specific subject material that the student/parent asks to be taught and is developed after consultation. However, I will be open and share the lesson plans and I am adaptable to any changes needed in the curriculum.

I am very adaptable to the needs of the student as well as I am very understanding and keep an open schedule. I always strive for excellence and want the student to leave understanding more than what they came in with.

I have experience with working and tutoring with people with learning disabilities as well.
